Marion F. Lewis, Sr.

Marion F. Lewis, SR., 66, passed away January 6, 2019 in Lynn, Mass.

Born March 30, 1952 in Lisbon, he was a son of the late Rev. Foster E. and Esther C. Lewis.

Marion worked as an Uber/Lyft driver.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Marion was a member of Simmons Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. He was a graduate of Lisbon David Anderson Junior-Senior High School and Kent State University with a degree in criminal justice.

Marion loved his family and would call them often to talk and reminisce on old memories. Marion never knew a stranger, and he was loved by all he met. He loved fishing, boating, and driving people around finding out their goals and dreams. He offered his love and support to whoever needed it and was glad to lend a helping hand to family and friends.

Survivors include his children Malcolm and Quinton Lewis, his siblings Michael Lewis of Salem, Marvin (Cora) Lewis of Lisbon, Michelle Lewis of Greensboro, NC, and sister-in-law Patty Lewis of Salem. There are three grandchildren: Audrianna, Malia, and Qadria Lewis as well as two great-grandchildren: Aria and Adien Lewis. He also leaves his partner of more than 15 years, Cheryl Jolly.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Marion F. Lewis, Jr. and a brother, Mark A. Lewis, Sr.

            There will be a memorial service a t 2:00 PM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home followed by a repass at 4:30 at the First United Methodist Church.
