William George Moore

Lisbon -          William George Moore, 74, died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a long battle with cancer.

Born July 25, 1950 in Bergoo, WV, he was a son of the late Henry C. and Edith A. (Louk)          Moore.

Bill worked as a coal miner for Westmoreland Coal Company.

Survivors include his wife, Dollie (Parish) Moore, a son, Billy, his stepchildren: Crystal Barnes, Anna Copely, Jessica Duron, Jesus Duron, and Jennifer Duron; his siblings: Henry Moore, Addison Gay Moore, Patricia Cooper, Betty Jo Miller, and Larry Moore. There are 14 grandchildren.

As a young man, he enjoyed hunting with his dogs. His favorite football team was the Greenbay Packers, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

A celebration of life is being planned.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Weber Funeral Home.
