Richard Lee Slomer

Rich was born October 15, 1956 in Butler, PA, a son of John and Dorothy (Dottie) Slomer .
He worked at US Air as a mechanic and later as a machinist at American Industries.
He was a loyal husband, father, and friend who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a Navy veteran.
In addition to his parents of Butler, PA, he is survived by his wife, Emma (Wampler) Slomer whom he married July 16, 1987, three children: Melissa and Chance Wampler of Butler, Richelle Slomer of Berlin Center, his brother John (Ann) Slomer, Jr. of Fenelton, PA and a sister, Paula (Joseph McMurray) Slomer of Butler as well as two nieces, a nephew, four great-nieces, and a great-nephew as well as his dog “Red.”
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with Rev. Tina Gallaher officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
