Randall Eric Crihfield

Randy Eric Crihfield, 62, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 17, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of deep faith, selfless service, and unwavering love for his family and those around him.

Randy grew up in Lisbon, Ohio, and spent most of his professional life as a Software Engineering Tester, first with Sun Microsystems and later with Oracle. He was also a longtime supporter of the Atari 2600 community, sharing thousands of copies with enthusiasts around the world each year and helping keep a beloved part of gaming history alive.

Above all else, Randy loved the Lord and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ. His faith was not simply something he believed—it was something he lived every day. He found great joy in serving others, whether helping friends, neighbors, or members of his congregation. Giving his time, knowledge, and kindness to others was one of the things that made him happiest.

Randy’s greatest joy, however, was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Deniese, a loving father to his son David, and a proud father-in-law to Kacie. Nothing brought him greater happiness than being grandpa to his two grandchildren, Asher, 4 years, and Brooks, 5 months.

Randy will be remembered for his steadfast faith, generous heart, joyful spirit, and the countless ways he quietly (and sometimes loudly) made life better for the people around him. His sudden passing leaves a tremendous void, but his love, kindness, and example will continue to live on in the many lives he touched..

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 24th, 2026, at the Dutch Haus Inn & Suites. 150 East State Route 14, Columbiana, OH 44408, from 11:00a-3:00p.
