Maryjo Evans

Lisbon -          Maryjo Evans, 64, died Monday afternoon July 1, 2024 at her daughter’s home following a lengthy illness.

Born July 3, 1959 in Canton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Kathryn (Maurer) Granchi, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Sabrina (Rusty) Johns and Joshua (Jenn) Romigh; her siblings: Craig (Elaine) Granchi, Jane (Joe) Schafer, Kathy (Jim) Stizza, and Pete (Andi) Granchi and five grandchildren: Tessa and Lillian Johns, Ryleigh Taylor, and Natalee Romigh.

She loved to have silly moments, picnics and popcorn with her granddaughters, she was always known to be joking and laughing with friends and family. Her stubborn personality was always sprinkled with sassy humor, she gave so much love to those she cared for in her job with Alzheimer’s patients and others she cared for over the years. She moved around to spread her love over the years but always ended up back with family.  She is now with her other family that preceded her in the heavens.

No public service is planned.
