Lisbon -James A. Chuey, 68, of SR 164 died at 5:28 AM Thursday, March 5, 2009

at the Mahoning Valley Hospital in Boardman.



Born April 20, 1940 in Struthers, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Julia G.

(Vale) Chuey.



He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the coal industry.



A U.S. Army veteran, he was an avid supporter of the Leetonia Sportsman's Club

and a member of Farmer Bill's Coffee Clatch.



Survivors include his sons James A. (Mitzi) Chuey, Jr. of Elkton and Shane A.

(Michelle) Chuey of Leetonia; his daughter Stephany (Gary) McDevitt of Leetonia; a

sister, Jane Kress of Lisbon; bothers Jonathan (Mary) Chuey) of Lisbon and Jerome

(Marlene) Chuey of Leetonia; seven grandchildren and thirteen nieces and nephews.



Brothers Joseph and Jeffrey Chuey are deceased.



Calling hours will be observed from 1 PM to 3 PM Saturday at the Weber Funeral

Home.
