Leetonia - Irene Frances Pahanish,92, died early Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Brookdale Salem.
Born November 24, 1933 in Salem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Felesky) Davner.
Irene worked in housekeeping at Sunrise Homes and Opportunity Homes for many years, retiring at age 75.
A member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, she enjoyed doing her yardwork, especially mowing.
Irene leaves four children to cherish her memory: James (Kathy) Pahanish, Matthew (Rhonda) Pahanish, Ronald (Paula) Pahanish, and Deana (Jim) Warneke as well as 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 2014 as well as by her brothers Joseph and Paul Davner and sister Mary Ann Davner.
A private family service was held at the Weber Funeral Home.
