Erla Jean (Mccandless) Gouldsberry

Lisbon - Erla Jean Gouldsberry, 89, passed away Friday afternoon at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Born March 24, 1929 in Slippery Rock, PA, she was a daughter of the late Donald K. and Elsie (Fox) McCandless.

She was retired from her position in the maintenance department at the Columbiana County Welfare Department.

A graduate of Leetonia High School, she was a member of the First Methodist Church of Slippery Rock. She was a part of the Lisbon McDonalds coffee club and was a former member of the Tri-State Explorers Club. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter Kathy Jo (James) Blankenship of Lisbon; a grandson, Michael (April) Ikirt of McDonald, PA; a great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Ikirt of Lisbon, as well as her great-great-granddaughter Phoenix Ikirt, a niece and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Gouldsberry and her sister Colleen Painter.

There will be a memorial service officiated by Dana Blackburn at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home.
