Dora Mae (Cox) Laughlin, 89, of Millport went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 5:23 pm Friday, August 29, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Laughlin was born July 19, 1925 in Millport, a daughter of the late Emanuel J. and Irma J. Cox and lived there all her life.
Mrs. Laughlin graduated from Salineville High School in 1943.  She was employed for many years at Blake’s Hardware and also worked as a poll worker for Franklin Township.
She taught Sunday School for over 40 years and was an active member of Harvest Baptist Church where she faithfully served in various areas.  She was passionately devoted to her family and will be remembered for her kind, considerate, and caring heart.  She was dedicated to her grandchildren and attended all their activities.  In addition, she was a member of Carroll Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
Dora Mae is survived by and will be dearly missed by her son Reverend Ron (Linnea) Laughlin of Salem, her daughter Mrs.  Kathy S. (Vic) Jones of Lisbon; grandchildren Matthew W. (Shannon) Laughlin of Charleston, SC, Mrs. Kristin S. (Charlie) Smith of Diamond, Mrs. Sarah L. (Damen) Selby of Chippewa, PA, and Rebecca A. Jones of Alliance; great-grandchildren Caleb and Luke Laughlin and Rachel and Nathan Selby as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Laughlin is reunited with her late husband of 66 years, Warren E. Laughlin, who preceded her in in death December 25, 2013.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Howard Cox.
A Celebration of Life officiated by the Reverends Ron Laughlin and Terry Weirich officiating will be held at Harvest Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday.  Friends may call 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
