Denise Lynn Goodman

Denise Lynn (Landsberger) Goodman passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026 from a lengthy illness. Born November 5, 1953 to William C Landsberger and Elsie (Padurean) Landsberger. Denise lived a life defined by quiet strength, deep kindness, and a vibrant personality. After graduating from David Anderson High School, Denise worked at the Lisbon Dairy Queen. Denise finished her working career as a Pharmacy Tech, at Lisbon Rite Aid, until her illness forced her to retire early. Beyond work Denise devoted her life to her family and her love of animals, especially cats. Though many years brought significant health challenges, Denise faced them with incredible courage, grace and an unwavering spirit. Denise is survived by her loving husband Larry, her two children, Julie (Greg) Seifert, Daniel (Holly) Goodman, her furbaby, Skeeter, her brother, Pastor Richard Landsberger, her sister, Barbara Forney along with many extended family members. Denise was preceded in death by her parents, William C and Elsie Landsberger, brother, Larry Frank Landsberger and twin brother Dennis Landsberger. The family would like to thank the dedicated team of Southern Care Hospice Services, especially RN Chris and RN Annalee, and the RN’s on the second floor, tower 2, of the Salem Hospital for their endless kindness, compassionate care and support during this difficult journey.A graveside service will be held on June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Denise’s memory to Angels for Animals in Canfield, Ohio or Southern Care Hospice Services, Youngstown, Ohio.
